I’m an experienced innovator of diverse community engagement through my current roles as Assistant Vice President at Vibrant Pittsburgh and as Vice President of Womxn in Tech PGH. I recently transitioned from my role as Director of Member Engagement and as the first Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Pittsburgh Technology Council. My advocacy work to help innovative start-up companies grow is also demonstrated through my previous position with the State of Pennsylvania as the Keystone Innovation Zone Coordinator for the Greater Oakland area of Pittsburgh.
I have a successful history of working in corporate and non-profit organization management to increase economic equity, innovation integration, talent acquisition and deal flow. I am a strong tech professional skilled in Marketing, Relationship Management, Innovation and Technology Business Development. During my time working in tech, I’ve fine-tuned my skills in being a change agent for organizations providing Cyber-security, AI, IoT, ML, and SaaS products.
Throughout my career, I have created marketing strategies to discover the gaps to make sure they don't become puddles. I thrive on being highly talented in discovering new client pools, boosting diversity, equity and inclusion at organizations and providing content for public/private events. I have often been thought of as a creator of authentic community engagement. I get things done through partnerships and organic collisions of invested parties. I'm looking to retain and attract inclusive talent, knowledge, and ideas to Pittsburgh and have previous experience coordinating tax incentive programs for young innovative companies in Pittsburgh.
I hold a Bachelors of Science focused on Social Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and am a recent graduate of the EDGE Women's Leadership program.
Personally: You can find me looking to catch the biggest fish in the three rivers, hiking the most adventurous trails with my two dogs and creating mixed media art.
