Welcome to Vibrant Pittsburgh's Connection Accelerator Mentoring Program.
The Connection Accelerator Mentoring Program is a digital platform that is designed to create and support meaningful mentorship opportunities by connecting diverse students to business professionals in the Pittsburgh region.
Participating students must be at least 18 years of age, currently enrolled in a participating college or university. Students from all class years, programs and schools may participate as mentees. Students can use the platform to either find a mentor or request to get matched. Mentors must be working part-time or full-time in the Pittsburgh region and have at-least 5 years of work experience. The mentoring relationships are meant to provide valuable support and guidance to students as they learn how to network, build valuable connections and explore new career paths that exist within the region, with the ultimate goal of remaining in Pittsburgh following graduation. Mentors will serve as coaches, advisers and connectors, helping students expand their networks and prepare for the transition from college to career.
Participating schools include: Carnegie Mellon University, Carlow University, Chatham University, Community College of Allegheny County, Duquesne, Penn State Greater Allegheny Campus, Robert Morris University, and University of Pittsburgh. Additional schools will be added in subsequent years.
