Vibrant Pittsburgh is an economic development nonprofit that seeks to address one of the greatest challenges facing the Pittsburgh region, its aging population and workforce, by providing leadership to accelerate the growth rate of diverse workers in the region. We do this in three ways:
Work with employers and diverse community groups to organize, promote and implement initiatives that are designed to welcome and retain more diverse talent Conduct targeted talent attraction initiatives at diverse national conventions, cultural festivals and career fairs using traditional and digital marketing tactics Serve as the region’s central resource, spokesperson and convener on workforce diversity and inclusion issues
I’m an experienced innovator of diverse community engagement through my current roles as Assistant Vice President at Vibrant Pittsburgh and as Vice President of Womxn in Tech PGH. I recently transitioned from my role as Director of Member Engagement and as the first Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Pittsburgh Technology Council. My advocacy work to help innovative start-up companies grow is also demonstrated through my previous position with the State of Pennsylvania as the Keystone Innovation Zone Coordinator for the Greater Oakland area of Pittsburgh.
I have a successful history of working in corporate and non-profit organization management to increase economic equity, innovation integration, talent acquisition and deal flow. I am a strong tech professional skilled in Marketing, Relationship Management, Innovation and Technology Business Development. During my time working in tech, I’ve fine-tuned my skills in being a change agent for organizations providing Cyber-security, AI, IoT, ML, and SaaS products.
